It was a hot sunny afternoon. Swathi had emptied her water bottle but still thirsty. Lunch break was getting over, she peeped outside the door and wondered. Immediately called Vandana who had just come from home after lunch.
Outside the school gate, there was an ice cream van. Few kids from the nearby slum were enjoying ice cream. No one to stop them!
They are so lucky! Finding joy in the little things. Least bothered about hygiene, still healthy and happy. As the cold ice cream melted in their mouth, the two girls wished they could also join them.
