In the
sky so high
But you
know,
I’m a
penguin [1]
I don’t
have wings
I can
only swim,
I only
catch fish
And make
it my dish [2]
I really
want to fly
Like the
other birds do,
They have
pretty wings
And colors in them too [3]
But what to do,
I live
where there’s snow
Anywhere
else
Can’t I go
[4]
Why can’t
I fly?
Should I really
try?
Maybe I should,
But I’m
little shy [5]
If I could
really fly,
Then will
I be famous?
Because I’ll
be the only
Penguin to
fly [6]
Alas! I tried,
But I couldn’t
fly
Instead I
fell to the ground
And hurt
my knee [7]
Now I know
that
Penguins can’t
fly,
They don’t
have wings
And that
is why [8]

Anagha has used many rhyming words in this poem compared to her previous poems. She imagined herself as penguin and wrote this.
This is sweet. And realistic.
Good one....👍
Good one Anagha 👍🏻
Thank you all 😊
