Paper Boats (A 100 Word Story)

It was a rainy day. Neha’s mother was preparing snacks. Neha wanted to float paper boats. She caught hold of an umbrella, took a stool, ran out and kept it in the corridor of her house. “Neha!” called her mother. The snacks were ready. She quickly came in, grabbed the snacks, took some sheets of paper, rushed outside. Sitting on the stool, she started making paper boats. Launching the boats, eating snacks while they move was fun. But once the thundering started, her mother called her back in. Finally, Neha’s wish of sailing paper boats in the rain was fulfilled.

Let it go!!!!!!!!

Let go of all the sorrow

in the form of tears and sighs!

Let go of that guilt

of not being perfect

Let go of the fear

of getting insulted,

of rejection,

of discrimination,

Let go of the people

who never valued you

Let go of those negative feelings

which drains your brain

 and burns your heart

Let it go and vanish

in those dark nights

Let tomorrow bring

a ray of hope,

positivity,

sanity,

acceptance

and a hearty smile
